" Once again I began and ended my Thai holiday with a 2-night stay at the Nana Hotel. I have stayed here several times before, over a span of 17 years. It is a mature, sensible hotel with all the usual facilities - new swimming pool on the 3rd floor, refurbished bathrooms with bathtub and shower, enormous beds, an efficient 24-hour coffee shop and inclusive breakfasts. Wi-fi available, and PC s for hire at 1 baht per minute in the hotel lobby. I found the staff attentive and friendly.
There is no need to be distracted by the raunchy goings-on of the Nana Plaza across the street, but if you enjoy that sort of thing, it certainly is there. Gentlemen are allowed to bring overnight guests to their room with discretion, I believe, but id s are carefully checked. Around the hotel there are many more respectable amusements also. I like to sit outside the Strikers Bar across the Soi, have a few iced beers, maybe a bowl of spicy Thai street food, and watch the amazing world go by. Better than any David Attenborough nature program! "
